Beth is the Executive Director of Soundstreams and the former Managing Director of Nightwood Theatre. She has over 25 years of arts management and producing experience in arts organizations serving a diverse range of audiences. Beth brings a deep understanding of the professional theatre and performing arts community, and the charitable sector, and specifically governance, government funding, and financial management.

 

 

Secretary | Jutta Brendemühl | Joined February 2022
Jutta Brendemühl is an arts programmer and writer with a focus on international exchange and collaboration, cultural diplomacy and arts education advocacy. She is the Program Curator at the Goethe-Institut Toronto as well as a director and programmer of the European Union Film Festival Toronto. Over the past 20 years, Jutta has worked across Canada and with Bernardo Bertolucci, Wim Wenders, Robert Rauschenberg, Pina Bausch, and others. She holds a master’s degree in English Literature with minors in Contemporary History, Political Sciences and Communication and serves on the boards of the Wee Festival and the Toronto Arab Film Festival. Jutta is a fellow of the TAC/Banff Centre Toronto Cultural Leaders Lab and a North American Cultural Diplomacy Initiative Collaborator.

 

Treasurer | Andrew Frazer, MBA | Senior Manager | CIBC | Joined December, 2021

A direct beneficiary of early childhood exposure to the arts through the Toronto Children’s Chorus (1993-2001), husband to an early childhood food insecurity post-doctoral researcher, and bearing witness to immediate family members making a career out of the performing arts, Andrew is delighted by the privilege to serve as a member of the WeeFestival team and to advance the Organization’s agenda of providing quality arts and cultural experiences to children in their early years in pursuit of supporting long-term health outcomes and well-being of children and our communities.
Having made his career to date in Commercial Banking and Corporate Finance with CIBC in Toronto, Andrew previously earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Acadia University (2011) and holds an MBA in Finance from Dalhousie University (2014).
A Korean Canadian born and raised in Mississauga, Andrew and his partner Jane are recent transplants to Nova Scotia
