Hello Hands & Feet

Animal Religion (Catalonia - Spain)

An adapted version of …and the Ideas Soar, made especially for neurodivergent children.

This contemporary circus show from the acclaimed Catalonian company Animal Religion takes place in a circular space bordered by a glowing ribbon of light. Children are invited to join a journey full of acrobatics, humour, play, light and music.

Walking into the circular stage, light, sound and movement get together in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. A dancer, a musician and a lighting artist will encourage children to interact, talk, listen, observe and feel the space. Using “Hello” as a starting point to create beautiful poetry, this enchanting show combines acrobatics, play, music and light to explore new ways to communicate with audiences.

A genuine celebration of play and audience collaboration, where light and sound composition come together to make each moment a new and thrilling experience.

About Animal Religion

Animal Religion is a circus company focused on exploring contemporary circus and interdisciplinarity. The company was founded by Quim Giron and Niklas Blomberg in 2012, with Giron taking on the artistic direction from the very beginning until 2017, when the company underwent significant growth.

Its first full-length show was the solo Indomador (2013), which toured for six years across Europe and Latin America. Indomador reflects on human animality, gender, and their interrelations.
