Box Office Manager | Chelsea Woolley

Chelsea Woolley is a local playwright, arts educator and certified teacher. She was a high school drama teacher in her hometown of Calgary before moving to Toronto to pursue her love of writing plays for young and old audiences alike. Chelsea has written a number of TYA plays including The Mountain which toured Eastern Canada as a part of Geordie Production’s 2PlayTour and is now enjoying a run with Spinning Dot Theatre Company in Ann-Arbor Michigan. As an arts facilitator, Chelsea has worked with the Toronto Boys and Girls Club, the Harbourfront Centre, Scarborough Arts Centre, Young People’s Theatre, and Project Humanity. Chelsea is the creator and program director of a youth program at Red Door Shelter where last spring she and eight teens co-wrote a play titled One Day. She is a graduate of the playwriting program at the National Theatre School of Canada.

Wee Statement: Chelsea is excited to be back for her third Wee Fest! Chelsea has been the Festival’s Education Coordinator and a Venue host, and will be welcoming families to the Fest this year as the Box Office Manager.
