Among the Trees

Lynda Hill, Michelle Silagy, and Jessica Runge (Ontario)

Among the trees is an exploration, a playful research, an invitation for children to come into dialogue with movement, music, poetry, and drawing.

Drawing as an extension of our bodies and a response to an artistic experience.

This work is structured in a way that invites children and their families, first to witness the dance, then to join the dancers, and then to respond to the experience in their own way through movement and by participating in the creation of collective ‘mark making” made with charcoal — and — the artists responding to them and all they are expressing live in the moment.
