Claire Wynveen | WeeFestival Rapporteur

Claire is the Co-Artistic Director of Litmus Theatre and is on maternity leave from the Toronto Fringe, where she is the Communications Manager. She is a producer, dramaturg, administrator, actor and writer. She is currently the dramaturg and producer of Litmus Theatre’s upcoming original adaptation of Brave New World at Theatre Passe Muraille, opening September 29, 2016. Recent writing credits: The Ghost Ship, The Selkie of Kincardine (Sundown Theatre), co-writer of the Dora Award-winning Birth of Frankenstein (Litmus Theatre). Claire holds an MFA in Acting from York University and an undergraduate degree in Stage and Screen Studies from Queen’s University. She has taught workshops and classes with York University, Queen’s University, Ryerson University, Canadian Stage, Pleiades Theatre, Classical Theatre Projects and the Paprika Festival.
