Created for children 2-5 years by Indigenous South African company Magnet Theatre. Knock! has young audiences singing along with performers as they explore the creative possibilities of forest wood—asking what it can do and what we can do with it. Strange animals and stories magically come to life with the help of the imaginative storytelling and animation by the ensemble. Presented in association with the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM).

Enthralling from start to finish, Germany’s florschütz & döhnert, introduce little ones to a raggedy white rabbit with a love of adventure and a knack for disappearing. Inspired by simple “kitchen play” games and song, babies are taken on an enchanting journey crafted to delight, surprise and stimulate.

Chef’s Bun and Bap take children on a “flour-fueled thrill ride” as they try to contain chaos they’ve created in the kitchen. This acclaimed production from Presentation House and Oily Cart Theatre uses puppetry, song, and the smell of fresh bread baking in the oven to inspire the children and adults alike.

At the end of a road, at the end of the village perhaps, or in the woods next door, there is a very small house nestled among the birches. It is the house of Annou, who has a heavy heart. Rosita arrives like a light yellow spring to brighten her little sister’s day with music, play, and little games. Performances in French or English.
